DAY 01 .../LIMA

DAY 02 LIMA

In the morning, tour of the Peruvian capital city, visit downtown Lima (Panoramic view of the Main Square, Government Palace and City Hall, entrance included to the Cathedral of Lima, Church of San Francisco and its catacombs. The tour continues to the modern districts (San Isidro and Miraflores) where we will visit the main parks of Miraflores and the famous Malecon (park facing the Pacific Ocean), the tour ends in Larcomar, shopping center in the cliff looking at the ocean. DAY 03 LIMA / JAEN / CHACHAPOYAS

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Jaen. Arrival and transfer to Chachapoyas, located 4 hours from the airport. Arrival and accommodation. | Meals: (B/-/-)

DAY 04 EXURSION TO GOCTA FALLS

The tour begins visiting the town of Cocachimba. Then we will have a 03 hours trek through narrow trails to the base of the Gocta Falls. During the trek we will observe the great diversity of flora and fauna. This region offers a beautiful combination of geography and history that makes it a magical place. Time to take pictures and bathe. Hike back to Cocachimba. Return to Chachapoyas. Accommodation. | Meals: (B/-/-)

DAY 05 KUELAP

Departure to Kuelap Fortress. After 45 minutes on the way, we will visit the archaeological complex of Macro located on a hillside. We will continue the way for 2 more hours to reach the cable car-station in Tingo, passing through several villages like Nuevo Tingo, Choctamal, Longuita and Maria. We will take the cable-car to La Malca and after a short walk we will reach Kuelap Fortress, located above 3000 m.a.s.l. Guided tour of the archaeological site, visit Pueblo Alto and Pueblo Bajo sections, ceremonial places, fortress keep, main temple, circular houses, etc. Return via cable-car to Tingo. DAY 06 KARAJIA / CHICLAYO

Start the journey to the province of Luya-Lamud, continue with a visit to the villages of Cocheran and Cruz Pata. From this point we will walk for 20 minutes to the funerary site of Karajia, famous for its unique vertical sarcophagi located high above a river gorge. This burial site was constructed by the Chachapoyas culture. Return to the city. Transfer at night to the terminal to take the bus to Chiclayo. Night on board | Meals: (B/-/-)

DAY 07 CHICLAYO

Arrival and transfer to hotel. In the morning visit to Royal Tombs Museum of Sipan. This museum was designed in the shape of a pre-Hispanic truncated pyramid. There are 10 exhibition halls that display the treasures of the Lord of Sipan, a large collection of gold, silver and copper artifacts (necklaces, nose rings, earmuffs and others) as well as pottery. DAY 08 CHICLAYO / TRUJILLO

In the morning, transfer to the terminal to take the bus to Trujillo, after 3:30 hours, arrival and transfer to the hotel. We will start of the tour on the western area of the city where the archaeological complex of Chan Chan is located, there we will visit the Temple of the Rainbow or Huaca El Dragón, Tshudi Palace, one of the nine best preserved citadels, the walls are decorated with friezes in high relief, we will visit ceremonial plazas, shrines, reservoirs, granaries, shrines, funeral platforms. Then we will visit the traditional fishing cove of Huanchaco port where we will be able to see Caballitos de Totora (traditional reed watercraft used in the area since Mochica times). DAY 09 TRUJILLO

In the morning we start the tour visiting the Moche Valley: Huaca del Sol (Temple of the Sun), built with more than 100 million adobes and that currently has a height of 45m, and Huaca de La Luna (Temple of the Moon), beautiful temple that consists of 6 buildings superimposed one on top of the other. Between both of them, the Moche city, probably buried by the effects of a great El Niño phenomenon. We will also visit the Huacas de Moche Museum. Accommodation. | Meals: (B/-/-)

DAY 10 TRUJILLO / LIMA / PARACAS

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima. Arrival and transfer to the Terminal to take the tourist bus to Paracas. After 3:30 hours in a comfortable bus, arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon at your leisure. Accommodation. | Meals: (B/-/-)

DAY 11 PARACAS / NASCA

Early in the morning, transfer to the touristic dock for the visit to Ballestas Islands, where we will see Humboldt penguins, sea lions, herons, etc. in a, comfortable boat tour with guide on board. Return and transfer to the terminal to take the bus to Nasca, located 3 hours south of Paracas. Arrival and transfer to hotel. Accommodation. | Meals: (B/-/-)

DAY 12 NASCA / AREQUIPA

Transfer to the airport to do the Nazca Lines overflight. During the flight we will see the principal figures such as the condor, hummingbird, spider, among others. The overflight is between 06:00 to 15:00, depending on weather conditions. Transfer to the Terminal to take the bus bed-coach to Arequipa, located 9 hours from Nasca.. DAY 13 AREQUIPA

Free morning to rest from the road trip and acclimatize to the altitude. In the afternoon, the City Tour starts visiting the Colonial district of San Lazaro where Arequipa City was founded: The Main square is surrounded by some of the most important examples of beautiful colonial architecture: the City Hall with its sillar arches, the Cathedral, the Church of the Company of Jesus, founded in the XVII century by the Jesuits with its magnificent cloister, the Church of San Francisco from the XVI century with its beautiful plaza. Then continue the visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina, the most important and impressive religious monument of Peru, founded in 1579. We will then visit to the Colonial District of Yanahuara, famous for its churches built in Andalusian style and its watch site, visit to the District of Carmen Alto with its beautiful landscape of andenes (agricultural terraces); finally visit the residential area of Selva Alegre. DAY 14 AREQUIPA / COLCA CANYON

Departure at 08:30 hrs. On the way, we will pass through the town of Yura, Pampa de Arrieros, Pampa Cañahuas and the National Reserve of Vicunas of Aguada Blanca, Vizcachani, the wetlands of Tojra, here we can find a variety of migratory birds throughout the year. We continue our journey through Chuccura and Patapampa, visiting the Mirador de los Volcanes (Volcanoes viewpoint). Approximately at 13: 30hrs, arrival in Chivay. Free time for lunch and a short break. Visit the Town and market of Chivay. Accommodation. | Meals: (B/L/-)

DAY 15 COLCA CANYON / PUNO

Departure approximately at 06: 15 to visit to the Cruz del Condor, where we will appreciate the depth of the canyon which is deeper than the Colorado Canyon. Also, here we will appreciate the flight of the majestic condor in its natural habitat. Return visit to the towns of Macca and Yanque and their Colonial churches. El Mirador de Antahuilque will also be visited. Arrival in Chivay and departure to Puno at the appropriate time. On the way we will appreciate a beautiful high Andean landscape, with regional fauna and flora. Also, we will be able to observe several rock formations that resemble a stone forest. We will pass through the villages of Pillones, Imata, Crucero Alto (highest point 4538 masl). Continue to the beautiful area of Lagunillas with its impressive natural lagoon, town of Santa Lucia, Cabanillas, Juliaca, until arrive to Puno. The bus trip takes approx. 06 hours. DAY 16 PUNO

In the morning, transfer to the main port of Puno to start the fast boat trip and navigate across the Titicaca Lake. Out first stop will be Taquile Island, where we can appreciate the customs of the local population and the beautiful landscapes in the major lake, then we will stop at Luquina Chico to enjoy the lunch buffet and appreciate a typical community. In the afternoon on the way back to Puno we will stop over the floating islands of the Uros, made of reed or lacustrine cane. Accommodation. | Meals: (B/L/-)

DAY 17 PUNO / CUSCO

Transfer to the Terminal to take the bus to Cusco. The trip takes about 10 hours, visiting: Alcra Pukara Museum, located 100 km north of Puno, we can find a ceremonial center consisting of terraces. The tour continues to La Raya, is the highest part of the route and it is possible to see beautiful snowy landscapes and fauna of the place. It is also the geographical encounter of two cultures, the Quechuas and the Aymaras. Lunch in Sicuani and time to rest. The tour continues to Raqchi, an archaeological site built in worship of Wiracocha. Magnificent work of architecture in stone and clay, one of the icons of the route. Finally, we arrive at the Church of Andahuaylillas, 40 km south of Cusco, its church, jewel of Baroque mestizo architecture is developed in Cusco, known as the Sistine Chapel of America for having its nave decorated and framed in gold leaf. DAY 18 CUSCO

Free morning in the Inca’s capital. In the afternoon the City Tour starts visiting the Korikancha Temple with the Church of Santo Domingo. Visit of the Plaza de Armas and entrance to the Cathedral of Cusco. The tour includes a visit to the 4 surrounding ruins: Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. DAY 19 CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY

Day tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting the ruins of Pisac and the picturesque market town of the same name known by its handycrafts by stone and wool. The tour continues to the different towns of the valley to Urubamba. Lunch Buffet in a local restaurant. Visit of the Fortress of Ollantaytambo with its terraces and spectacular view of the Valley. DAY 20 SACRED VALLEY / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO

In the morning, transfer to the train station of Ollantaytambo to take the Expedition service to Aguas Calientes. Arrival and bus up to the citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the new seven wonders of the world. Guided excursion through religious, civil and military areas. DAY 21 CUSCO
