Mysthery in the desert: Paracas, Ica & Nasca

Departure by bus to Paracas, located 4 hours from Lima. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Visit to the Paracas National Reserve, where we can see the Julio C. Tello Museum, a small exhibition featuring ancient burial bundles and ceramics. The tour continues to the Cathedral Viewpoint, an iconic rock formation rising above the sea. Finally, we will visit Red Beach, known for its uniquely colored sand and crystal-clear waters.

In the morning,  transfer to the tourist pier to begin the excursion to the Ballestas Islands, where we will be able to see Humboldt penguins, sea lions, herons and other marine species. It includes departure from the tourist pier and a guide on board. Departure to Ica, located a 1 hr from Paracas.  Arrival and begin our tour to the Huacachina Lagoon, also known as “The Oasis of America,” where we will admire the beauty of the desert landscape surrounded by impressive sand dunes. We will enjoy an exciting buggy ride across the Ica dunes. Transfer to hotel.  🏨 Accommodation. 🍽️Meals: (D/-/-)

In the morning, depart by private transportation to Nazca. Upon arrival, visit the natural viewpoint of the Nazca Lines, where you will be able to closely observe some of the enigmatic figures surrounding the area. Continue with a visit to the María Reiche House Museum, the former home of the famous archaeologist who devoted her life to the study and preservation of the lines. Finally, transfer to the María Reiche Aerodrome to begin the thrilling flight over the Nazca Lines, where you will admire the most iconic figures such as the Condor, the Hummingbird, the Spider, among others. Flight schedules are subject to weather conditions. Return to Ica with  lunch en route at a local restaurant. Transfer to the hotel. 🏨 Accommodation. 🍽️ Meals: (B/L/-)

At the scheduled time, we will transfer to Tacama Vineyard, one of the oldest wineries in the Americas. We will enjoy a wine tourism experience that includes a visit to the vineyards, where we will learn about their rich history and the production process of their renowned wines and piscos. The experience will be complemented by a guided tasting led by the winery’s sommelier. At the end of the tour, we will enjoy a traditional lunch at the vineyard’s restaurant. At the end, transfer to the Terminal to take the bus to Lima. Arrival at night. 🍽️Meals:  (B/L/-)
